Ms. Jennifer Garner
Jennifer Garner has always loved to learn about all things creative--art, music, writing, dance, theater, and even cuisine. This enthusiasm for the arts has led her to study English and art in school, earning a BA in English Literature from the University of Texas at Austin and an MA in Fine and Decorative Arts from Christies in London. She continues to voraciously read, cook, dance, and create art because it's fun and because she wants to keep pushing herself to grow as a person. Teaching teens is something she believes strongly in because she was lucky to have a number of great teachers who have inspired her throughout her life, including her mother. She knows that high school is a crucial time in a person's life and wants to make a difference in the lives of young adults. In addition to work her as a public school teacher, Ms. Garner has run educational programs for art museums that serve families, teens, and adults. She truly loves to share art with others and is always up for a conversation about it. Ms. Garner is also passionate about the transformative power of travel to change the way someone sees the world and themselves. An avid traveler herself as well as the sponsor for Global Student Travel Club at Cedars, she hopes that many students join the exciting travel adventures she plans each year.
