Today’s Career Day at Cedars International Next Generation High School was a fantastic success! Thanks to all of our volunteers, students had the opportunity to explore future paths as they connected with local businesses, trade schools, and colleges, discovering how their studies apply to real-world careers and possibilities.

Cedars High School Judges Chef Jackie and Chef Rosa had a tough time deciding who was the winner for today’s Spirit Week Contest: Anything But a Backpack. The Winner is The Wheelbarrow!

CHSl StuCo is giving small prizes for each day's best Spirit Week theme look. Yesterday’s theme was "Dynamic Squad" and the winner was the Scooby Doo crew. They even got a student to be the van (she’s inside it in the pic)!

Dr. Trinidad's class is making social media inspired community openers, reminding students to finish strong for the First Trimester. This is the winning image for the best meme picture. You've got this, Raptors!

Please join us all in celebrating CINGHS Junior, Savion Smith! Over the weekend, Savion and his rowing team from the Texas Rowing Center competed in the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, MA. Head of the Charles is the world's largest 3-day regatta, featuring athletes from high school, college, and club levels. We are all very proud of Savion and his team for this major accomplishment. Way to go, Savion!!

Come join the PTO Spook fest for Trunk-or-Treat on Friday, October 25th, 6-7 PM at Cedars International Next Generation High School (6700 Middle Fiskville Rd File Room, Austin, TX 78752). This is a fun and safe trick-or-treating event for the whole family. Students can dress up for a Costume contest. PTO will serve snacks in the cafeteria. Families and staff can decorate your car's trunk with the best design of the night. Families will also sign up to bring candy to pass out.
