Coats for Kids: Coat Request Form is Live
Warm coats are being collected across the greater Austin community to ensure children most in need of a winter coat receive one. If your child needs a coat and meets the eligibility requirements, you may request one by completing the CoatRequest Form. Please note that the form will remain open until Oct. 15or until requests reach capacity.
Due to a limited number of coatsavailable, this program is open to students and children ages 18 or younger who meet one of the following criteria:

Receive free or reduced lunch

Have a household income below the national poverty line
-
Have been identified by a teacher or school administrator as needing assistance to obtain a coat
An adult must complete the form on behalf of each child in need. Only one form may be submitted per child.

As a reminder, parents need to choose "Charter School (escuela charter)" on the question that reads "My child/student(s) attends school at the following school district or charter:" to be able to select your charter organization/campus on the subsequent screen.

Coats for Kids: La solicitud de abrigo está abierta
Se están recolectando abrigos en la comunidad de Austin para garantizar que los niños que más lo necesitan reciban uno. Si su hijo necesita un abrigo y cumple con los requisitos de elegibilidad, puede solicitar uno en el Formulario de solicitud de abrigo.
Coats for Kids es un programa que tiene un cantidad limitada de abrigos y está abierto a estudiantes y niños entre 18 años o menos que cumplin con los siguientes requisites:

Recibir almuerzo gratis o reducido

Tener un ingreso menos del minimo al acuerdo de las pautas de pobreza federal

Sido nominado por un maestro o administrador por necesidad de ayuda
La solicitud debe ser completado por un adulto y cada estudiante requiere un solicitud; solo se puede enviar un solicitud por estudiante. La solicitud se puede completar digitalmente entre el 1 y el 15 de octubre. Solo se puede enviar una solicitud de abrigo para cada niño.
