Greetings Cedars Family,
In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students, Cedars International Academy will begin taking nominations for all interested students in grades K-12 for gifted and talented screening. Anyone interested in the educational welfare of these students may nominate them for assessment here.
The National Association for Gifted Children defines gifted children as “those who demonstrate outstanding levels of aptitude or competence in one or more domains."
Our gifted students are served in the regular education classroom. Classroom teachers will differentiate gifted student learning to address academic needs along with their social and emotional needs.
Deadline for nominations is September 27.
