Gifted and Talented Nominations Opens

According to TEA, a gifted/talented student is a child or youth who performs at or shows the potential for performing at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to others of the same age, experience, or environment and who

• exhibits high-performance capability in an intellectual, creative, or artistic area;
• possesses an unusual capacity for leadership; or
• excels in a specific academic field. (Texas Education Code §29.121)

If you suspect that one or more of your students displays qualities of giftedness in one or more areas, please fill out a Nomination Form for each student you wish to nominate.   The nomination window closes on Monday, September 26.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
